Dog-GONE! Photo, Video & Content Submission Consent

By affirmatively accepting these terms and submitting photographs, videos, audio, captions, stories, or other materials (“Submissions”) to Dog-GONE! LLC (“Dog-GONE!”) through doggoneindy.com or by email, I agree to the following:

Permission to use and modify

I grant Dog-GONE! and its authorized service providers, collaborators, and promotional partners a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable to the fullest extent permitted by law, nonexclusive, royalty-free, fully paid license to reproduce, edit, crop, retouch, manipulate, adapt, animate, combine, publish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and create derivative works from my Submissions, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed.

This permission expressly includes substantial creative alterations, AI-assisted or AI-generated modifications, changes to backgrounds and visual elements, and the addition or replacement of music, sound effects, dialogue, voiceovers, captions, graphics, and fictional or humorous scenarios. I understand that the finished content may differ substantially from the original and may portray dogs as speaking, acting, or participating in imagined situations.

Public, promotional, and commercial use

Dog-GONE! may use the original or modified Submissions for public posting, rescue and adoption awareness, entertainment, education, marketing, advertising, paid promotions, sponsorships, fundraising, monetized content, and other activities promoting Dog-GONE!, its mission, or its rescue and community partnerships. This includes websites, social media, email, digital and print materials, and other promotional channels. Dog-GONE! may permit platforms and service providers to process and distribute the Submissions as necessary for these uses.

Authority and required permissions

I am at least 18 years old and own the Submissions or have obtained permission from all applicable rights holders to grant these rights. I have obtained any necessary permissions for identifiable people, voices, music, and other protected material included in the Submissions, including permission from a parent or legal guardian for any identifiable minor. Where I submit on behalf of a shelter, rescue, or other organization, I am authorized to agree on its behalf. I also authorize use of the submitted dog names, stories, and organization names or logos in connection with the permitted uses, to the extent I have authority to do so.

No approval, payment, or publication guarantee

I retain any ownership rights I hold in the original Submissions. Dog-GONE! does not owe me compensation, royalties, credit, advance notice, or an opportunity to review or approve the finished content. Dog-GONE! may choose whether, when, and how to use any Submission and does not guarantee publication, exposure, adoption, or any other result.

Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Dog-GONE! and those acting with its authorization from claims I am legally entitled to release arising from uses and modifications expressly authorized by this consent, including claims concerning compensation, approval, privacy, or publicity rights. This release does not excuse unlawful conduct or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

Duration and public sharing

This consent applies to the materials included in this submission and remains effective after any featured dog is adopted or my relationship with Dog-GONE! ends. I understand that publicly posted material may be shared or copied by others and that Dog-GONE! cannot guarantee removal of those copies.

Electronic acceptance

By checking the consent box and submitting content, or expressly accepting these terms by email, I acknowledge that I have read and understood these terms, agree to be bound by them, and intend my acceptance to serve as my electronic signature.
